Rayat Shikshan Sanstha has started MBA program in 1981 at Dhananjayrao Gadgil College of Commerce Satara.This is pioneer institute to start MBA program in Satara district. The MBA course is bifurcated from Dhananjayrao Gadgil College of Commerce Satara to newly established management institute named after founder of Sanstha as Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Institute of Management Studies and Research in Nov 2006.
    The Institute is recognized by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to Shivaji University,Kolhapur. Institute is enjoying lead college status from last two years and only institute recognized as research center in management. Present intake of MBA is 120 since academic year 2010. The measure strength lies with institute is its well qualified teaching staff, effective teaching learning process, research and consultation.
     Institute offers range of specialization catering to the development needs of the student community and quest for knowledge is the prominent feature.
